I am talking about those tables with data that are in EU, EU2, and HoI. They are very useful and fun to look at, but they are probably not being used to their full potential.
In all three games upgrading things is a real chore, very annoying. It takes at least three clicks for each province. Since Victoria promises to have many more things we can upgrade, and since most fun countries will be very large, this will be an even bigger problem.
Each table can be organized numerically or alphabetically by clicking on the titles. So text in the tables can be interactive.
In the HoI research and build lists the programmers added a little "delete" icon in a patch. If that was possible in a patch then doing it before the product is released is probably even easier. The buttons are so simple that a conformation window doesn't even come up.
So what if in the Victoria notebook under each column listing infrastructure, railroads, etc. the programmers added a little button that would upgrade with one click. Is this possible?
