When I came to the realization that the photos are already in the system my inner Don Quixote would no longer be contained. Apologies. I don't know if they are avoided because that would mean too many starting generals and a pre-generated general can't be picked up with the create-a-general system?

This also applies to other nations I am sure. Meaning many people could be made happy with one simple click on this websi-oh sorry wrong subject.

Yep, this will be great! Italy is quite disapointing in terms of images (portraits&ministers ecc) and historicity. I think paradox is plannig for Italy a decent dlc

Meh, it's so generic. There aren't even any graphics for non-major stuff. Generic screams all over the game.

I will pay for a DLC. However the pictures are already available. This is not extra content that needs to be created.

There are like 25unique portraits in the game, but worry not 200will be introduced soon via dlc, each 10 for 2bucks. ))

These portraits are already in the dev library. It would let people add generals for not only Italy but other nations as well. Just release the minister pictures used of generals and admirals in the original format instead of reduced minister icon format. There is a big banner claiming PDS loves modding.

They are the original images. They're not bigger images they've just decided to shrink. Minister icons and full leader portraits are different images, even if they occasionally use the same source image (i.e. a photograph).

You can't just 'blow up' minister icons to make full portraits.

Different goal, different workflow. If they only wanted the small advisor portrait it makes certain sense to spend just 15-30 minutes on the task, than a few hours the full scale image would involve. No matter how hard you roll those eyes.

If you use the Vanilla plus mod, it adds a nice amount of Generals for Italy, honestly not sure why they arent in the game to begin with, but thats Paradox.

Good to hear. Annoying that someone who has been making this game series is that oblivious though. I fear with the whole MP focus I'm probably out after this.
