7. CLOSING THE BENGAZI POCKET
1941 August
"Desert Rats" have reached Aujila at 20:00 at 2nd of August they started to move Northen and totaly cut off the remaing reatreat path for the Italyen African army wich desperatly started to reatreat through Agedabia but it was to late the entire deser behind them was taken by English and there was no way back. All their atemts to break through will be beatened back.
Another breakthrough was in Greece were our army was reorganized and 1 mil. div. was left to guard Agrinio province wich the English managed to take in 2nd of Augus 3:00 and 2 inf div. were sent to take the revolting Larisa provence were the remaining of greek rebelions were still figting Italyen forces. This way we could cut of Italyen army to the soulth and if we are lucky even destroy them. For that rason 6 transports were sent back for reinforcments to the main land wich they will reach in 10th of August and if everything is ok 6 more div will join the greek freedom corp at the end of August. Also some reinforcements are planded to be send from N. Africa when the pocket is closed and the Italyen african army is beatened. Also gerison div. was ordered to redeply at Agrinio also the cavalary corp will join them as soon as transport ships will transport them to the Greece. We were hoping that Itlayen reinforcement from Albania willl not show up soon as our intelicengence repotrts that there is a whole Italyen Balkan army deplyed there and also some German support from their balkan troops is possible at the fture so the chances of succes in Greece operation was low bu we could't let sush opportunity go by
First atempt to break through came at August 3rd night when 1 Italyen div. crachend into Advancing English. But with teh support from Genereal Gort army they Italyend were sent back to Bengazi. Our mobile corp "Desert rats will reach Algebaria shores at 9th of August. That 6 more days. Lots of unorganised breaktrough atempts will be made by the Italyend by that time.
At 6th of August all avalable reinforcment came to Greece. and hoe there was 1 cav. 1 mil 1 gar and 2 inf divisions. The Italyend were trying to transport some reinforcement but their transport ships were sunked by our Medeteranyen fleet or beated back. At 6th of August 15:00 Greek freedom Command lead by Field Marshal Auchinkieck reached the shored of Aegen sea. But as our inteligence reports there are 4 Italyen div. at Athens. In order for all our victorys ar Greece not to be lost 6 Transport ship squad were sent to Barca were they will take almos all N.Arfican Command unit to the Greece as soon as they will beat the Italyen at Bengazi pocet will should be compleatly surrounded at 9th of August. That 3 days from now. The Italyens once again tryed to beat our unbeatable Medeteranyen fleet but once again failed and lost a Batlle in Ionian sea.
Augus 9th 1:00 night. Desert rats compleated the pocket by making to Agedabia.
12 Italyen divisions were surrounded in Bengazi. A big counteratk was ekspected. Their will definatly try to break troung. Our Medeteranian fleet have tightly surrounded the sea exit so reatreat by the sea was out of question. The only chance was to atak "Desert rats" corp wich was quit tiered after their journy through the Sachar desert. Despite the night cover our troops charged and it was just in time because 6 Italyen divisions lauched a counteratak on "Deser rats" and only because of our ataks they had to call it of.
This batlle was the key fight in the North africa. If it will succed the victory will be won and the advance to the reast of Italyen Algeria will be only a matter of army marching speed, but if we fail the Italyand will definatly break through the pocked and the figting could last for few months of even years.
So the batlle began at 2:00 at night, after the called of atak on desert rast defenders focused on Defence. 22 our division ataked 11 Italyen. 1 Italyen division was returning to Bengazi from failed atempt to secure the link beatwean Bengazi and the rest of Algeria. There was 7 Inf division 1 par. 1 mout. 1 mot and 1 arm division traped in Bengazi. 2 HQ could be lanched into tranport ships earlyer or waiting at the port in the transport ships or maby they were already destroyed. At the morning we sent our Tactical bombers into the action. After 13 hours of freasome figting the Italyend gave up. 11 divisions were either destroyed or surrendered. This was a big day in all the years of war in the North africa. This meant only one thing Italyens defeat. And with that done North africa command was loaded into transport ships and transported to Greece for another frons was forming there.

8. OPERATION GREECE FREEDOM
1941 August
Because of the defeats in the North africa Italyen army size has reduced desperatly. A in the beginning of the sov-ger war it was competetive size to the English army but now it was no mach for our vctorious soldiers. Italyens have lost 10 inf. divisions 1 ca. and 1 mot division, thisr only par. division and their only 2 tank divisions. the total lost is 16 divisions lost in the sands of sahara.
Since our goverment realized that this is going to be a long war our goverment ordered to start building 5 new factorys and since we needed more transport ships our port strated to build 3 transport squadrons. First pear of newly recruted inf divisions were almos trained and ready for action. They will be ready in august 21.
But as we all know luck isn't always on the one side. Our N.African corp (6 div out of 9) were transported to greece and on their way the meat a strong Italyen Navy. Medeteranian fleet was to late and 1 tp ship was sunk with 1 inf. division in it. But the reast 5 made safly to Agrinio were they were renamed to Greek freedom Comman. The other 2 corps wich were made their landgins in Greece were renamed to 1st and 2nd Greek Freedom corps. When General Montgomery men will be fuly ready the asult on Athens will start with the support of bomber and naval bombardmet we should be victorious. But as our inteligence reports Italyen navy managed to snift trough our navy and transport 3 more division to athens. So this will make this fight 7 to 6. Big batlle lies ahead. And if victorios we could destroy another 6-7 Italyen divison since there is no reatreat from Atheans only by sea and when our fleet will tight the blocade it death for them.
Italyen reinforcement have arived to Bengazi to late as they were ambushed by advancing british and were taken alive of killed. 3 more Italyen division was destroyed.
The atak on Athens started on 13th August morning 5:00. At first it wasnt looking good because Itlayend were better organised and well dug in but once again Our bombers and navy done their job and the Italyens who were supose to stand this atak were once more on the run. Bengazi was finaly secured and our N. African mored fovard for total ocupation of Alferia. 3 left divsions of N. Africa Command were loaded to transports and sent to Athend were they will join General Montgomery men for final aslult on Italyen forces in greece.
General Sikorsky and his mobile corps "Desert rats rached Sirte. Absolutly no Italyen resistence was met and they procided futher to Tripoli were the final atak on Italyens will be made and N. Africa will be secured.
At 15th of August General Montgomery reachen Athens. their reinforcement were on their way. They decided to reast here and wait for reinforcement to arice (12 org) Our Tac. bomber procided with further bombing. And our medeteranian fleat was commanded to sail to the malta in orfer to secure the transpot ship fleet wich was carryn Western Comman (6 div) to malta from were they will go either to Greece or to N. Africa if victory wount be sure there. At last on 17th of August reinforcement for General Montgomery came to athens. They qucly joined the Greece Freedom corps and weant to atak wich began on the next day 5:00 in the morning. 2 Italyen divisions stood in their way. Other 4 divisions to the north were ordered to move and take some provinces since no German or Italyen soldier was spoted (maby all figting in the front against the soviets?).
At 20th of August nigh our Northen Forces in Greece reached there new possitions but still no enamy unit was seen. This was becoming dancerouns as our forces could overstreach. So the further advance ws stopen even knowing the fackt that there are no enamy units near by.
On 21th day of August 4 New divisions were trained. They were sent to the soulthern shores of our homeland to keep it safe while our old troops will be loaded into transport ships and transported to the front. Also on 21th Desert rats reached Homes and got greated by Italyen counterat wich they managed to block only with the help of navy and air bombers. So the decition was made to wait for reinforcements and then charge to Tripoli. N. Africa Command, this name was given to General Gort army, was on their way to Agedabia were transport ships were waiting for them to be transported to Homs. Field marshal Auchenklek was given Wester Command wich was located at Malta and wich was waiting for their turn to be transported to greece afet General Gort is transported to Homs.
Good news came from London. A new infeantery equpment was invented by Roal small arms factory and now all our Infantery divisions will be upgraded to 41 model divisions. This will take time and resurses but our amy will be up to the date and moders and will be able to compeare even to German army. With free scientis we started to upgrade our mot. division model since they were out of time also.

9. LANDING IN TUNIS
1941 August
News came from Italy as Mussoliny got furious about Italy defeats at Noth africa and Greece he decided to reabilitate him self by ocupying some land of Vicy france. The french could't do anythins as Geramny fully supported Italyens so Tunis and Corsica island fell into Italy hand. But for British this meant only one thing. Longer figting in N. Africa as the last batlle for Trippol was seened as a last step in N. Africa and now we will need to take Tunis also. Because of such turn we decided to transport Western command not to Greece but to Tunis and then send tranport ships to Soulth of Greece to pick up the Greece freedom command and transport them to northen Greece front as we knew that it wont be long since Germans will send their troops to the Greece once more.
At August 23rd night. News came that N. African command was transported to Homes and was ready for asult on Tripol. Now our transport ships will go to Malta and transport Western Command to Tunis. Desert rats once more moved to desert to cut off the escape of Italyen forces to the soulth were they would be hunted forever in the deserts.
On the same day 23rd of August 13:00 Our Greece freedom Command finaly reached Corinthe and 6 Itlyen inf divisions were finaly traped at Patras. Next day morning will be the date for the atak. But bad news came as our planes scouted balkans. Few German Panzer divisions was on their way to Greece. So we had to hurry up to stronger our possitions at greece other vise our landing here will become a catastrophy
August 24th morning came as two big batlles has started. Greece Freedom commans lead by Montgomery ataked surrounded Italyens at Patras and our N. Africa Command charged to Tripooli. At first things weren't looking so good for the atakers since Italyens were quit good organized. The atak at Tripolli had to be called of as we got information that 2 Italyen division (fuly organized) was located to the soult of homes in Socna. They could easyly outfalnk us and surround us and with such a low organisation level in our army (Because of suck fast movement) we could lose all our N. African forces here. The atak was called of.
But figting in Greece contitued even when Italyens defence were more well organised even if their equpment was better, but english had other advantages. Once again (As many times before) the atak was saved by our air forces wich poundered the Italyend for good leaving them in panic and since they were surrounded the bombong was even more efective. And in the evening 16 o'clock it was over.
As our Tactical bomber started bombing Italyen forces at Socna they saw that these were the 2 HQs that had ecaped from the Bengazi pocket. Now they were stuck in a midlle of a desert about 500 km from they forces in Tripoli. Tactical bombers wer given a comman to bomb them to the last men and leave no one alive.
At 25th of Augus 23:00 in the nightin amfibious landing started at Tunis. Our fleet well supported the landing and all atemps of Italyen Navy to sunk the TP ships were beated back. Also in 27th of August our Greece Freedom comand has fully taken over Petras province. 7 Italyen divisions were destroyed during the batlle in the Petras. The Italyen army was beatened. After the victory in the N. Africa our troops wil land in Italy it self since as our Navy reported they didnt saw any guarding troops at Italyen shores. All Italys forces were send to Greece and N. Africa leaving their home totaly unprotected.
Landing in Tunis was over in 29th of August after that our TP ships rushed to Greece were they had to transport our Greece Comman to the fron in the North wich they would reach them selves only in September 28th thats about 1 month and we cant aford such long time to be wasted. Also 1 TP ship will ceary 1 division from that army to take the remaning 2 Islands under Italyen control Cyclades and Dardanless. Then all of Greece will be liberated.
In 30th of August morning one or 2 Italyen HQ was totaly anahilated by our tactical bombers. Also desert rast has reahed their target and Italyen HQ were cutoff.
This was the overal possition in the and of the summer. Our possition was a lot better then it was at the begginins of summer. Greece and Liberia was almost liberated and a landing in Tunis was succesful wich meant that Italyen will be driven away from N. Africa wery soon.
Our naval victorys in the Mediteranian sea was obvious. At August we have sunk 17 Italyen ships lossing only 4 (3 TP and 1 sub). Also we have destroyed 1 German submarine flotile.

OVERAL SITUATION IN THE WORLD
1941 September
The Soviet-German was was still goin well to the Nazi side in numbers but in possitions Soviets managed to gain some advantages. They managed to recapture Riga and few more possitions also stop furter German advance almos in all front exept many midlle were Germans have made some progres and were at the gate of Kiev. Finns were stil losing to Soviets, they managed to retake helsinky but only for a while the Soviets captured more fin. provinces. Germans army has growth in numbers a litlle bit. They have reacived 2 more inf. visions and 2 gar. (mainly for partisan activity control) but Germans have los 3 HQ. In total the number of german army has grow from 262 to 265 and got biger then Soviet army in total numbers. On the other side the Soviets were losing men desperatly. They lost 13 inf. 4 mot. and 2 tank divisions in August.
Japan-China fron was stable. The Japs even lost 1 province to Chineese counteratak. But 4 encerculed China procinces were still holding and couldnt break trough. China had an impresive number of Militia division 103. But Jap. army had the advantage in inf. divisions. Also there was some Com. China and Yunan forces holding their own front with Japanese so Japs wasnt the sure winers here, but their industrys were much much better and advanced then Chinese. Air power support and modern army these were the advantages of Japan army wich could be the turning point in this fight.
Well as always the good news was the English-Italy front. Were we managed to beat the hell our of Italyens. Alllies have managed to secure all to greece and take over almose all of Liberia, also we have made a landing in Tunis at the end of August. The number were even more drastic. As the British has growth in number the Italyen army was beated to bits in Bengazi and Petras pockets were they lost about 20 divisions. Italyen army was reduced by half from 49 div to 25 div. Losing half of their inf. (16) 1 cav. 1 arm. 1 par. and 3 moutain divisions. 1941 September
The Soviet-German was was still goin well to the Nazi side in numbers but in possitions Soviets managed to gain some advantages. They managed to recapture Riga and few more possitions also stop furter German advance almos in all front exept many midlle were Germans have made some progres and were at the gate of Kiev. Finns were stil losing to Soviets, they managed to retake helsinky but only for a while the Soviets captured more fin. provinces. Germans army has growth in numbers a litlle bit. They have reacived 2 more inf. visions and 2 gar. (mainly for partisan activity control) but Germans have los 3 HQ. In total the number of german army has grow from 262 to 265 and got biger then Soviet army in total numbers. On the other side the Soviets were losing men desperatly. They lost 13 inf. 4 mot. and 2 tank divisions in August.
Japan-China fron was stable. The Japs even lost 1 province to Chineese counteratak. But 4 encerculed China procinces were still holding and couldnt break trough. China had an impresive number of Militia division 103. But Jap. army had the advantage in inf. divisions. Also there was some Com. China and Yunan forces holding their own front with Japanese so Japs wasnt the sure winers here, but their industrys were much much better and advanced then Chinese. Air power support and modern army these were the advantages of Japan army wich could be the turning point in this fight.
Well as always the good news was the English-Italy front. Were we managed to beat the hell our of Italyens. Alllies have managed to secure all to greece and take over almose all of Liberia, also we have made a landing in Tunis at the end of August. The number were even more drastic. As the British has growth in number the Italyen army was beated to bits in Bengazi and Petras pockets were they lost about 20 divisions. Italyen army was reduced by half from 49 div to 25 div. Losing half of their inf. (16) 1 cav. 1 arm. 1 par. and 3 moutain divisions. Also 1 HQ (1 more will be destroyed soon by tac. bombers) The British army has gained 2 inf. divisions (actualy 4 but 2 was lost).

We shall see As i played previously A big German reinforcement came to Fins and they managed not only take their lost provinces but make to the Leningrad (Saint Peterburg). And about Japs. They suks. In all mothe they didnt managed to beat thouse surrounded Chinese. But on the other hand they didnt let them go. Well more decicive batlles lies ahead. CLOSING THE AFRICAN FRONT
1941 September
As soon as our army took over Tunis province it was splited into 3 parts. 1 mot. division was ordered to move to the west to the boarder with Vichy france. Other 2 inf was ordered to move to Gaina Province. And the main pard HQ and 2 inf were moving by the shore of medeteranian sea to Trpipoli were they will crush the remains of Italyen Army in africa.
Bad news came from Greece were our front troops meat comming panzr division and had to reatreat. All 4 divisions were ordered to move into Larisa province since Our Greece Freedom command will be transported to other province Ioanina and will dug in there because these 2 provinces are easyly defendable because german army unist is adengerous sing.
At 2nd of September our mobile corp "Desert rats reched Ghadanes province that way the Italyen were blocked in Tripoli and 1 remaining Italyen HQ lost in the desert was cut of. But Italyen lauchen a counter ata wich was quit well organised and Our troops was hardly hit at first but with the support of N. African command wich launched a asult on Tripoli in order to ease the atak on Ghadanes and also capture it. Our Bombers started to boms the other part of Italyen army. Also at the same time Greece Freedom command arived at Ioanina. And British possitions was streanten there.
As soon as our troops reached Tripoli another atak was launced on Zuara province wich was the big batlle in the N. Africa. Other fight will be only with disorganized and reatreating Italyend. As our troops in Tunis were about the reach Liberia.
In 5th of September Our troops finaly Liberated the last island of Greec and all of Greece was finaly under British commans. And the decition was made to give Greece independence. Operation Greece Freedom was ended. And now all forced in The Greece front was renamed Balkan Liberation forces. Corps 1 lead by General Montgomery and corp 2 wich was comanded by General Fitzpatric. Each of them will have 6 divisions (2 will be transported and join corp 2 from other islands. The forces will be ordered to dig in and hold the possitions till reinforcemens will arive from africa.

I would rather wait with liberating Greece till capturing Kavala & Edessa (& Skopje?), and also capturing some province that would remain british after liberation...

Well these provinces belong to Bulgaria now and when ill beat the Bulgarians ill give some provinces to Greece. Even Sofia because Bularian forces are worthless because they have no commanders so i will split Bulgarin and give it To Romunia and Greece. HOI team should fix this bug. Because when i realised Bulgarian pupet they had absolutly no army commander so their troops were almost useless.
And i will never keep any territoy for my sefl (exept Africa and Asia) all european countrys will be free. (well puppets but still

INVASION INTO ITALY AND NORWAY
1941 September
Our commandrs couldnt make up their mind were to make another landings at totaly weakened Italy of Norway were we knew that germans have sent all of their troops to finland. So we done the simpliest thing in the world. We chosen to atak bothe Italy and Norway. At 16th of September 6 TP ships were loaded in Norwich with 1 HQ 3 Tank and 2 mot divisions 6 more mot. divitions were left for further tranportation. 12 divisions should be enough to take back Noway. On Italy 3 division were loaded on the same day and would be transported to Sicily were absolutly no Italyen division were spoted by our air divisions. Absolutly no resistence was meat during these landing. Only German fleat and few Italyen Subs tried to beat the landging but Home fleat and Medeteranyen Fleet done their dutys.
The Finns couldnt take the presure from soviets and gave up, but Germans managed to recapture Riga and take Kiev. Massive atak was launched by German in the north and in the soulth. Center was holded by soviets mostly because of huge Gudian wood were german armoured arvantage was usless.
Both landing succeded and on 19th of September 21:00 Western Command made landing in Sicilia. After 24 h. Landing in Bergen was compleat and Eastern Command took there possitions in Norway. NOt a single enamy soldier was meat either in Norway either in Sicilia. So our troops after a short rest will be ordered to move.
At 22th of September our troops moved in. Western Command in Italy was splited into two groops. One (1 inf) was ordered to take the reast of the sicilian island and the other (1HQ + 1 inf) to move to Italys mainland because no soldies was spoted there either. On the other front Eastern Command was splited into 6 groops. Main part of this army got orders to move to Oslo and free the city (1HQ + 1 Tank + 1 mot.) 1 tank division was ordered to move to the north and take possitions at Trondhin other tank division was ordered to reach the boarder with Sweden and secure it. 1 mot division was sent to the sould and secure Stavange province.
At 223rd of September a new model of Interceptor was created. And we started to upgrade our airforces to newere models at once. General Dudley was asinged to use Attritional containment Doctrine wich bluepirnts were given by our allies.
At September 14th 12:00 we took over Stavange province in Norway. On December 25th 13:00 our tanks have reached Hamar province and our main forces reched outskirts of Olso and started to moe into Olso. And still ABSOLUTLY not a single German division was foud in this tow. Our genereal were woried what the Germans are up to? Since our tanks goot stuck in the moutains and would made to Trondhin only at 5th of october our other part of troops (6 mot. divisions) were transported to Mo i rama near to Narvik and thake thouse provinces then one divison will be sent to sould to meat our advancing units from Olso and other (5 mot div. ) will be send to take Narvik. And Germans will be totaly beatened out of Norway.
A big naval batlle was won at Gulf of Tarando. 6 Italyen ships were sunk.
Another desition was made in Italyen front. Since out advance from Sicilia was stuck and could be only amde in October we decided to make a landing some were in Italy. Landing in Taranto was called of because Italyen nits showed up there so the other province Naples was chosen as a landing spot. At 27th of September our troops have secured all of Sicilia island.
And another big naval batlle ws won this time only against the Germans whose navy was desperatly trying to stop the landing at Mo i rama. Germans have lost 6 ships at this fight to bad english navy have lost 1 BB and 1 DD ship. But the landing wsa secured. At 28th of September out troops taken full controle of Oslo without a single shot. It seems that all German forces ust wanished from Norway. Unless Germans was to sure that their navy will secure Norway from landing.
At 29th 21:00 Landing in Nepales was sompleted and in the morning 30th of September 10:00 our troops landed in Mo i rama. Taking controle of almost all Norway.
This concluded the ofencives at September. Lots was done at this month. African front was closed. Landing in Italy and in Norway. Also strong possition at Greece. Not a single atak was lauchenon our forces in Greece.

too bad about losing the BB. italy should be a breeze. the only thing you'll have to worry about would be germany reinforcing the italians. great job!
