So i've been playing again since bronze and like where the game is going but it is lacking endgame content. My idea / wish would be to make out specialists into real heroes with a level system and a real inventory including special and unique gear. While the former should start right away the hunt for gear (only a very limited number / variety could be produced everything else found / traded) could be a real motivation boost for the endgame. Levelcaps could be hidden behind technologies to prevent early game overleveling and such.
