Hi, i see that the submarines are not an efficiently tech to do an thing in the gameplay, and the only use for it is to simulate the Blockade that Germany waged against Britain and their Allies.

But in real life blockades was a real threat to continue to wage war, because this destroys the capacities of an Nation to do imports in order to have a supply in food, primaly but secondly in other supplies as steel, tungsten and others equipments...

This is not true in case of the Game, the game neglects all the values and measures that are needed in order to do an war, and just represents this as war support but not as food shortages - As the soldiers need food as well as the population...

Its an grey area if this should be implemented or not, but i think that this abstraction of ws hit is not good, because not represents in ration (or food) drop -> So ws hit and soo the war is more difficulty to be waged...

In WW1 the Blockades was really a thing that made Germany losing and losing more the war, but this is only represented in a Decision in the Great War Redux and theres no significance to do an proper blockade...

So whats the point here? Why Rations/Food is not implemented to make Naval Warfare more fun?

Other point is that the Navy of UK Should wrestles its weight, making Germany impossible to do an Land Invasion but its not represented in the game aswell...

Game design principles isn't ok with represent civil starvation in game.

U actually have war support penalty for being convoy raided.

About UK AI, the major sin is that they arent "aware" of geostrategy, theyre coded to prioritize Mediterranean, and once u close Gibraltar, they try fight for indian ocean, because AI seem india ocean as "continuation" of mediterrenean.

In varios posts i defend that AI, specially allies should have a "mood", one for the "historical war", and another for ahistorical situation where german close mediterranean or take UK colonies.

The game does does simulate cutting off supplies that are represented in the game, just not every real world resource.

You can therefore effectively blockade a nation that relies on imports. As Germany you can only really invade UK by blockading so it has no oil to use its ships and airpower and/or resources to build more.

Not sure what adding food specifically would add apart from just another resource.

What exactly would be more fun in cutting off imported food over cutting off imported oil?

As additional note, on lastest version, the allies are lendleasing very well to soviet union.

If u convoy raid, u get really easy win, but won't will farm general traits, specially the near legendary "skilled staffer".

If u want use soviet union to farm traits, don't convoy raid, pause offensive, and let soviet union rest.
