TL;DR: human faces aren't symmetrical in real life. One side tends to be sag more than the other. Eyes aren't placed symmetrically, either. In short, if you cut a face in two and make a symmetrical projection of either the left side on the right or the right on the left, you will have two different faces (each different from the asymmetrical starting face).
