So that it is possible to easily see, for example, which trade good different provinces produce when choosing where to build production buildings, or which provinces are in a trade node you want to increase your trade power in via buildings.

You can already sort of do this by switching map modes after you have selected a building, but as soon as you build or switch to a different building, it switched back to the default building map mode, which leads me to believe that that is a bug of sorts.

Perhaps toogable option of "when building type X building change map mode to mode Y" so for example every time you build a trade building (marketplace, trade depot, etc.) game automatically change map mode to trade mode for the time of buying.

I agree. It's annoying when I have trade nodes map turned on becouse I want to build trade buildings only in specific node and when I click map mode changes to buildings map mode.

Yeah, I imagine it's a little tricky because build mode IS a uniquely colored map mode, but having some relevant info stay on would be nice. Particularly for trade. Maybe just keep the outlines of the trade regions with their names. It can be a real pain in the butt to flop back and forth between trade map mode and build mode.
