hey all.
First off I'd like to ask if their is some more official forum for majesty 2 than this one, to give the devs a direct feedback.

Anyways I'll start off with few of my suggestions:

1) Make every "hero" building upgradable.
- What this is essentially is having 1 upgrade for each hero building. This upgrade will cost 30% of the overall building cost, but will allow for 1 additional "hero" to be hired.

2) All heroes have ability to buy spells and mana.
- Any hero can purchase a spell and mana potions to help them fight better.
Original spellcasters would have 1 starting spell, to differentiate them from other warriors when they buy spells.

3) Flag type "protect"
In the majesty you had missions to defend some buildings, but really no real way to make heroes defend them or even be there when they were needed, so for this reason there should be a "protect" flag.

Hi. This forum is supposed to be the official one. I don't know how often the developers are reading this forum, but they said they do :p . There is a thread where the lead designer has already answered some of the questions, but he hasn't been here for while (it's one of the older, larger threads, but i don't know which exactly).

1) sounds good

2) The original majesty has no mana system, only a health bar. But maybe we will see a mana system in the sequel. Then mana potion will be grateful.
In majesty 1 all heroes can learn and cast spells (in the library)-- theoretical, but they never did it. I think it's a good idea, but it's need really a more complex AI then in majesty 1.

3) The flag typ has already been announced. There will be four types of flags: attack, explore, defend and avoid.

1) I also like more upgrade possibilities (lvl 4), but instead of adding 1 hero rather have major upgrades. So a lvl 1 Warrior's Guild houses 4 Warriors, a lvl 2 4 Warriors of WoDs or Paladins (with the appropriate temple). Lvl 3 would give 4 Warriors + 4 Wod/Paladin. And the very expensive Lvl 4 Warrior's Guild would give Elite Warriors to train (to a total of 12 heroes). Also sewers etc. could be upgraded to spawn less. And there would be inter-connections. A lvl 3 Guardhouse would have a research 'poisoned arrows', but that would be only available with a Rogues Guild present. Just my ideas :)

2) I rather have a seperate group of spellcaster and limited spell-ability for the non-casters. If all heroes could cast all spells, that would kind of put the use out of spellcasters, doesn't it?

3) Agreed.

I really just want better balancing (obviously) and more D&D style equipment, though obviously not too complex. A +2 sword of fire for instance would be cool. The only other thing I wanted was grouping, and it looks like they're doing that!
