I have the retail box of majesty 2, will the steam or gamersgate version of kingmaker work with it? If not, where can I get kingmaker that will work with retail edition?

The GamersGate version will definately work with it (I have the retail base, GamersGate expansion). Not sure about Steam, but I'd avoid that as there have been all sorts of issues with the Steam version.
