This mod/DLC addresses some of the balance issues with the original game, and introduces some new features. It brings the balance a bit closer to Cold Sunrise, but does not copy it. The main motivation was to fix economy gaps, hero behavior and obvious bugs.
Overall targeted improvement:
- Make heroes more responsive and lively, like in Majesty 1.
- Add variety in game, such that every hero would be interesting to hire.
- Heroes are more likely to take initiative when encountering enemy buildings and units.
- Make heroes more representative of their classic medieval fantasy archetypes.
- Heros are better balanced, hopefully your games will get away from being a typical paladin/helia/elf rush.
- Improve the cash flows.
- Make the game easier.
- Make the game more of a sim and less of an RTS.
