This mod/DLC addresses some of the balance issues with the original game, and introduces some new features. It brings the balance a bit closer to Cold Sunrise, but does not copy it. The main motivation was to fix economy gaps, hero behavior and obvious bugs.

Overall targeted improvement:
- Make heroes more responsive and lively, like in Majesty 1.
- Add variety in game, such that every hero would be interesting to hire.
- Heroes are more likely to take initiative when encountering enemy buildings and units.
- Make heroes more representative of their classic medieval fantasy archetypes.
- Heros are better balanced, hopefully your games will get away from being a typical paladin/helia/elf rush.
- Improve the cash flows.
- Make the game easier.
- Make the game more of a sim and less of an RTS.

This mod only works with the DLC fix. Install the DLC fix first!

Instructions:
Code:
1. Unpack the archive to any folder on hard drive.
2. Copy "resource.mod" to your Majesty 2 Collection root folder (the same folder that has the executables).
  - If you have a steam version, your path will look similar to this: "Steam\steamapps\common\Majesty 2 Collection"
  - If you have a non-steam version, your path will be whatever your settings were when you installed the game.
Changes:
1. Misc:

New Features:
- Elixir of regeneration is now sold at kingdom and monster magic bazaar.
- Peasant house 2 is properly populated now.
- Gnome house 2 is properly populated now.
- Added missing "lights on" texture for peasant house 2.

Cost and Income:
- Increased smithy level 4 upgrade cost from 2500 to 4000.
- Smithy now generates 50 gold per day.
- Tavern now generates 20 gold per day.

Globals:
- Peasant construction speed increased from 45 to 60.
- Decreased unit visual disappearance/appearance when exiting building from 0.5 to 0.3.
- Increased the threshold at which a hero goes to heal in guild from 0 to 20 percent.
- Increased the defense flag radius from 18 to 20.
- Decreased building restriction radius for buildings from 0.8 to 0.65.
- Increased chasing the enemy target from 10 to 12 seconds.
- Decreased last level that influences response to flags from 20 to 18.

Maps:
- Converted 3 maps from Cold Sunrise for Collection edition!

- Increased reaction towards buildings from 0 to 2.

Very fun mod, a perfect time for me to get back at single missions.

Very worried about the lack of new maps though, but this mod will let me have some fun with the existing maps.

Looking forward to see what you do next.

Even more than before :) Putting a dwarf guild next to an elf guild is a really bad idea :)

What do you mean by "Both versions"? With and without the patch? No. Unless you are willing to go and juggle with folders manually.

How can I tell if the mod install worked? I did as you said (after installing the DLC fix) but i'm not really noticing much difference in gameplay. It works on the campaign right?

Yes. Your heroes should be spending much more time exploring on their own now and wandering much farther. Another noticeable change - mages now run away when at 50% health. You can verify that yourself. Oh, another easy way to spot the changes - build times were decreased. Instead of finishing a guild on day 3-4 you should be finishing it on day 2-3.

Hi! Could you perhaps add healing and mana potions to the tavern? To have them as the old outpost/trading post from Majesty 1? :p

Hm, not sure about this one. I am not sure about how that will affect game balance. I would rather leave the tavern as it is.

It was brought to my attention that the magic bazaar was selling speed potions instead of regeneration potions. This has been fixed. Grab latest!

My Heroes can buy Regeneration Elixir, but they don't use them, no idea why.

Yes, as unfortunately as it may sound, this is an engine bug, I cannot fix it from gameplay scripts :\ Looks like regeneration potion was disabled simply because devs did not fully implement its effects.
