Can anyone explain how the maintaince company is supposed to work? Started a game as USA but wanted to go motorized instead of infantry. Attrition on the trucks was so high so added a maintaince company. But 12 months later attrition losses are still high on trucks and are not Even involved in a war. Is it training that does it? After a unit is deployed place them in training army until they are at regular.

@stavern, 71cloak is a you tuber who posts some excellent short (many are three to five minutes) videos on all things HOI4, but especially on questions like yours. He ran some tests on maintenance support companies and reliability. I recommend that you look him up. The answer is a little deeper than yes-no, plus you get the benefit of knowing why.
