It's the same style I guess. Found it in an old Ren&Stimpy music pack. And I quite like these silly, light hearted instrumental pieces used in old cartoons.
I wanted to use the Pluto theme, but I didn't find the pure instrumental version of it.
I find the font terrible -- but I don't like the PotBC font as well. Isn't there a more "serious" font?
It wasn't really supposed to be serious. But i'll look around for a compromise.
I always imagined you as this dark, brooding guy, ploting in secrecy to ressurect the Osterreich Empire (dont know why when you are a clearly an Australian) and I dont like the cheery, happy setting. You should totally modulate your voice and adress your viewers as "maggots" or "beam noobs" atleast. You should start every episode with these words: "In the grim, far lands of Magicka there is only war..." or something.
P.S. Im serious.

Why not post a couple of different "styles" you wouldn't mind going with and then take a poll to find out what people want.
At the end of the day you have to enjoy doing it though. If you don't then you'll lose interest in it. If you enjoy it and have fun then you'll gather an audience of like minded people no matter what style you end up going with.

Heh that was pretty fun, could do with you explaining what you're actually doing though and the effects, rather than just "do that, and you kill him" XD
Ofc like ya said it wasn't supposed to be super serious. Just was thinking something more like (while casting the elements slowly) "First put ice armor on yourself by doing ice, ice, shield blabla", Then cast Ice wall by "Ice, ice, arcane, shield, right click for a half-circle". The explosion will blast you over to the other side, and the ice armor will protect you from the blast, and hit your enemy for around x damage. *demonstrates again.
Otherwise yeah it would be really helpful. Also demo some other spells in single player so you can show how they affect groups and so on or different types of enemies.

Still waiting for Al.I.Cuza version but this one seems to be much funnier
Dont know what do you want your series to be focused on, Cuza - education or entertainment, but I would say go with entertainment for us THE pros who already know everything and not education for those pesky beam noobs
Well the idea was to entertain the people who know what they're doing and the educate those who don't.

Don't compromise. I like it (music, font and all), and others will too. It's in the Magicka mentality. You're basically filling in the gap left over by the Developers. They'd have made something non-serious. Let someone else make a serious tutorial (unless you yourself would rather use a serious style).

Congratulations on your first tutorial video... and that is everything nice I have to say here
Where are the jokes you promised? Where are the Harry Potter puns and other hilarious and racist comments? For instance, the whole series should have begin with you explaining what "beam noob" is and therefore, why its bad to use beams. Wouldnt that be more funny than just saying "dont use beams"?
Your explanation of basic defensive spells seems to me rather confusing. First you talk about auras and then mention armors but in a way in which you suggest adding stone or ice elements to previously presented SAFE and SARE auras is a way to do it. This would obviously lead to casting spells like SFE or AE in case of SAFE aura (as stone and lightning/water and lightning/fire and ice nullify themselves). That could be very misleading. Instead you should have presented SDER and SDEF armors as prime choices against opponents using water attacks and discourage using ice armors as they are rather useless in PvP due to their low HP and weakness to fire.
I hope next episode will be more entertaining and informative

As to the content: This was actually intended to be an informative tutorial for the PvP noobs, who know the Magicka basics. That's why I didn't separately say how to add D to the auras. Do I persume too much thinking that people who want to play PvP will know that A and D cancel each other out?
