PVP Video Contest
The PvP Video contest is still running all the way up until Monday. So far there are very few submissions, so everyone entering still have a good chance of winning. You can find the submission thread and all other related info here: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum...eo-contest-thread.-Post-your-submissions-here

Working hard or hardly working
There hasn't been much in the way of announcements lately, I can however assure you that we are working hard on several interesting things for Magicka. Do keep in mind that we just recently got back from our vacation :)

Krietors PvP Q&A
Krietor did a Q&A with us here at the studio regarding Magickas PvP mode and eventual future developments. It's a good read and i highly recommend it to everyone. You can find the Q&A here: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?553498-Magicka-PvP-Q-amp-A-with-Arrowhead

May the “luck” be with you!

Drinking beer is very important to Magicka! :D
Any sneaky hints at what you may have in store for us?
Does it involve cultists?
Does it involve tentacles?
Does it involve tents?
Does it involve greasepaint?
Is it a new level based in a circus where the clowns all worship Cthuhlu?

The thing I like about Arrowhead is that it actually feels that they're creating games to give us the ENTERTAINMENT, (and have some good fun themselves too), which sadly the industry is really lacking nowdays. Magicka was just so fun and fresh in comparison to the crap around nowdays. (Could have been a bit more stable though hehe).

There's too much of the "Playing games is a service and you should feel lucky to receive it" crap around nowdays, what with Ubisoft and even fecking Blizzard doing all the "You must be online at all times to play singleplayer" crap, as well as the paid auctionhouse and so on, same with EA / Origin and the "reserving rights to delete entitlements" bollocks. Its like ENTITLEMENTS? I've PAID for a bloody game! All was wanting to do was enjoy myself, not sign me bloody soul away and be shafted every which way possible, grrr they need to pull their heads outa their arses, such an irritating attitude that's just made me not WANT to play their games anymore.

So yep keep it up Arrowhead, it really makes a difference with what it seems that your main goal is to give us fun, good experiences, and realise games are part of the ENTERTAINMENT industry.

Woo... wooooooo! This might be a little bit off-topic (and I apologize for that) but as a Blizzard fan I feel the need to defend them.

You can play SC2 offline single player, if you've logged in to Battle.net atleast once to confirm you've buyed it (which seems only fair). For Diablo 3 it's different, you need to be online to prevent cheating (especially with items). Paid auction house is GOOD. Items were already sold for real money anyway for Diablo 2, it was unreliable and full of scams. This will help prevent scams. And if you don't like the auction house, no-one will force you to use it, you can still play the old-fashion way.

That is very true however :) There are so many games that are made in like 2 mouse-clicks and sold for 60€. I'm particularly disappointed with Halo, they've already got the engine and concept art developed and keep releasing games with so little new content for a company of that size, and they don't release PC version because of piracy (what a shame, Halo is a PC game). That's why I love indie games so much, they give you stuff that is a lot cheaper and a lot funner than industrial stuff.

For those who don't like reading here's a quick summary:
Magicka Rocks! Arrowhead Rocks! Paradox Rocks!
