I'm not sure if it was meant to be this way, but it would seem as though the games vocals aren't in English. I ask this question because names like Vlad are spoken very clearly, but I have no idea what the rest is. I have subtitles, but if there's a way to change the vocals of characters in game so I don't need to read to have a clue what's going on, I'd love to know it.

hehe I had to google it when I first turned the game on too.

Its a random gibberish language they made up (with some nordic / swedish elements I think). So yeah as long as the text is in English, its working right. :)

Same heh, then when I continued I lolled at all the silly words.

In the dev commentary on TotalBiscuit's channel on youtube they said it was hard to get out of talking gibberish afterwards, they were all fluent in it. XD

Can just imagine peeps walking round an office going herpa dunka dunka to each other hehe.

I think the best translator is Vlad considering he speaks to the Wizards in "Magickian" and he tells you the story in English.

But I would like to know how they settled on what what meant, for example, how did they settle on "party" being "dunka dunka"?

I read on youtube that Dunka Dunka was slang in Sweden for party, But I am not sure whether or not they were just trolling. It was a top comment, but that does not mean it is accurate.

It is not slang for party, but rather a way of describing certain kinds of music (with a relatively heavy and repetitive base). This kind of music is popular at parties though.

It's like when you're describing a techno song in english and you say something like "You know that song? it goes 'dom dom dom dom dom dom dom dom, doodlitdoo-doo the system is down! dom dom dom dom...'"
