Last night, I bought Magicka. I love how a small amount of people can make great games, and get original games published these days, by great publishers and producers.
However, despite I payd for this game, after I had read about requirements and gameplay, I can't play this game.
The reason is, I am left handed. I read the manual and checked the in-game settings, and there is no chance to change the hotkeys. Which means, I cannot play this game - at all. I will need my left hand on my mouse, and I cannot swap the hotkeys, which means I have to shoot spells, also with my left hand - which practically makes this game impossible to play - atleast it steals the fun out of it.
I think it is a major mistake, not being able to change the hotkeys. Even tiny free flash games online, offer the posibility to change hotkeys - but in this game, I haven't spotted how that can be done yet.
I have therefore bought a game, I would love to play and looked forward to play for a long time, and because there hasn't been any description what-so-ever about this issue - I blindly bought this game, in faith to the developers gave the opportunity to change hotkeys - so every person who bought this game, without major disabilities could play it.
But this game is mainly suitable for right handed players - not lefthanded. I wish that had been somewhere in the description of the game.
Is there any way to change the hotkeys within the game? Are the plans to fix or add this in the future?
