I'm building a pure mage going into damage and healing mostly, maxing wits obviously, dumping might, vitality and resolve.

I'm wondering which other stat to max:

-Finesse- for the flat accuracy boost making spells more likely to hit/crit, the flat boost seems like it would be more powerful at the start of the game and decrease in relative power as you level up mage skills.

OR

-Quickness- (recommended by the game) for reducing cooldowns and being able to spam spells more... It seems this option is stronger if you tie it with a very low recovery period, perhaps even eventually going unarmed and having one low cooldown damage spell to spam? This option also seems like it would remain strong throughout the game as its a % decrease, and actually get stronger as you have more spells.

How are people building their mages stat wise?

Vs the finesse argument, skills also boost your accuracy a lot, and afaik finesse only boosts your graveblight skill, which are more for the add on effects than the damage, while if you go quickness you can use lightning and illusion magic easier and work on your dodge to make it so you don't get killed by archers so much. Finesse would probably be great for an archer that debuffs people, but not for a pure mage in my opinion.
