So, among all the other nonsense plaguing machine empires right now, it's really annoying that DA and RS get no end game world like every other Civ. Terraforming a world to a machine world removes all food production on the planet, which is really bad for DA and RS. The shift of requiring food for your cyborgs and trophies seems pretty short sighted given all the problems this has caused. DA in particular will probably have more than half of it's population be cyborgs if you've done any conquering at all, so nuking all your farms just results in game over.

The easiest fix is to allow machine worlds to have any district they want. Either that or DA and RS need a new type of endgame world that's unique to them that provides the +10% production that everyone else gets while not nuking their economy.

But why would you turn all your worlds into machine worlds? As a MegaCorp I won't turn all of my planets into one Ecumenopolis after another. At least thanks to current behaviour i also won't turn all of my planets into Gaia worlds.

The new way to terraform ensures that you have to choose which planets to change and which to keep the way they are. Which, in my opinion, makes for more interesting gameplay in that regard.
