No no.

What I mean is how are they supposed to get them? I know they have the factory in game but how are they supposed to get that factory?

There seems no logical way to ever be able to build one. Because you need MT to get MT factory and only MT factory can give you MTs. See what I mean? Thats a loop with no beginning!

And now the game grants for UK the ability to be INSIDE of that loop from the start and others have to get there. And since its impossible to get there without outside assistance the whole wolrd is on the mercy of the British player. So if I as British player decide not to sell any MTs to anyone EVER that means no country is going to industrialize expect Britain. And even Britain didnt do it by itself since it got the gift of free MT factory in the start of the game.

It's like every country(expect British who are blessed by scenario design) start out from year 0 when it comes to indusrtialization. And there is no way for them to go on. Well this was not the case. The world did not get industrialized due the good will of British. Even if British had major influention on it, it's still totally absurd to suggest every industrilization is basicly product of the UK as its modelled in the game.

This seems to be basic design flaw and I hope it will be addresed.

There is your answer Tellu. Research provides you with some so you can set up your own factory producing machine parts.

Tredrick was faster than me. Tech advances/inventions give you machine parts. You have to use them wisely, fo course, but those enable you to build machine parts factories. They represent "prototype parts" if you like. :)

Thats satisfactory. I hope that AI knows how to use these parts.

Are they called machine tools or machine parts?

I still hope there would be a way for converting some other resources(steel and some else) with high price to these parts as representing manufactories making the early machines. Because historically it was not that there wasnt any of these things before factories. Factories just made more of them and cheaper. So I'd like to see a way to get all these thing factories make by some other more expensive means if the World Marker doesnt supply them.
