The tank on top of another tank is an absolutely historical and realistic option. An armoured division doesn't have a single type of tanks. I am tanking about tank divisions here, not tank squadrons.

1. Maxim/Gatling, 2. WWI start MG 3. Interwar MGs until inclusion as organic part of Inf. units.
