according to the rules, NOT "culture in all non-european provinces will change"


I'm not (much) against this particular edit, BUT it sets an unwelcome precedent that every event that gives a bonus which is not as good as it could be (+2 when you are at +2/3, -5 inflation when you have 4%) would warrant an edit.

Or even further, Portugal in the above example add English Indian Ocean islands. Or do we say called allies only fight in areas primary parties defined and they can get land there if they wish, or just help their allies for some othwer compensation?

sounds about right, or atleast, what I had in mind

Can attacked party also chose a more far away region, like for example Spanish Phillipines in the above example (if Spain owned them)?both can set one region, regardless of distance
3) Let's suppose Spain called Portugal as ally. Do called allies also have right to add their own preferred regions? Each SIDE gets to determine ONE region, so discuss rewards before going in :)

Who is surprised? There is not enough commitment to organize this during the weeks and edits, finding subs should not be done during the first half hour of the session. I say if someone doesn't show up without cancelling let that nation be played with AI and take the consequences rather than punishing the rest of the people that show up in time. EDITS: rahter in that half hour than not at all.. all the "regular" editors out, noone did them.. so I decided to do that...
SUBS: should be arranged earlier I agree, but then we ALSO need to know who IS there, for all you or I know someone might have a power out.. he can hardly anticipate that, but I doubt everyone can/ will be online on ICQ 30 mins before session to check who's missing.
no sub/AI: the problem is that it does not only affect the nation itself, but it "radiates" chaos outward (allies, people who had coop plans.. people who need that country to keep someone else on guard etc.)

but yes, this was a VERY bad show but I'm glad some of you DID make it, and that includes subs

I *think* what he means that this DOES make communication a tad more difficult, as you will generally be available for discussion at times we are either asleep or at work, and vice versa.
