Barnius said:Well, since we have a rule about changing culture of over 5000 citizens colonies after 30 years, I would have nothing against that small change for France.
Or indeed return the province culture to pagan and gove France half the money for this particular conversion.
Barnius said:I had some thoughts about it too... Here are some issues that are clear to me:
1) Official in-game (code) allies can fully cooperate in a colonial war.
2) Generally a third party can declare her own colonial war against a country already in one colonial war. But that should be an exception, and after some talks about the matter, to enable the party already at war to settle things diplomatically if possible. All this because...
3) The goal is to have the war arena limited. A battlefield in a colonial war are seas (all of them) and land region agreed upon DOW.
Now some things that are still unclear to me:
1) Attacker declares a region he is interested in, like for example Spain did against England in the last colonial war: North American continent.
2) Can attacked country than widen the region? I suppose yes, because otherwyse she could only deffend and not expect to winn anything. Like England declared Caribbean to be addition to North America in the last war against Spain. But Caribbean are NEXT TO North America. Can attacked party also chose a more far away region, like for example Spanish Phillipines in the above example (if Spain owned them)?
3) Let's suppose Spain called Portugal as ally. Do called allies also have right to add their own preferred regions? Like for example Portugal add Caribbean although England chose to leave it out. Or even further, Portugal in the above example add English Indian Ocean islands. Or do we say called allies only fight in areas primary parties defined and they can get land there if they wish, or just help their allies for some othwer compensation?
1. It was NOT a colony, only an out-of-europe city AFAICSdevil said:3. It causes the problems with the rules since iirc. Oye has 0 nationialism.We have a change culture rule in colonies
Which is fine just give me a good reason..

Who is surprised? There is not enough commitment to organize this during the weeks and edits, finding subs should not be done during the first half hour of the session. I say if someone doesn't show up without cancelling let that nation be played with AI and take the consequences rather than punishing the rest of the people that show up in time. If we can't find enough committed players I see little reason to continue.
Barnius said:Well, the file is not quite OK:
The part related to Kouban:
city = {
name = "Pyatigorsk"
population = 10093.289
location = 468
fortress = { level = 1.000 }
}
has to be moved from Georgian section to Russian.
