There is a suggestion Geldre and Friesland to be ceded to Holland by a decree.

About Jakarta... Naturally, since you don't have maps, you can't know it is in fact a level 1 colony, a naval base allowed by rules for every nation.

2000 d is good for Holland is good, but if she is to DOW Spain in 5 years to simmulate the war for independence, than it's not enough. Also, perhaps better to give Holland a bit higher trading income than cash.

- 20 warships
- 15.000 infantry, 5.000 cavalry
- naval tech a bit higher?
- Caribbean TPs removed; instead a colony in Africa to help with exploration
- African coastline maps up to Persian gulf and Goa; maps of Zanzibar, Isfahan and Goa COT and 1 merchant in each of those COTs
- a merchant or two in some other COTs

Perhaps a couple cots in the east should be revealed to the Dutch. That way, they get the important knowledge they ought to have, without verbatim Portugese maps.

In any case, Holland will be edited to AD's satisfaction, and if it must be done, we'll drop the dow Spain thing anyhow. And for now, we will hold off on the inflation injections.

HG said we weren't going to do it unless it looked like setting our techs back didn't do the trick. I think setting our techs back has been AWESOME and I wish more games would do it.

And Yes I like the tech also, I just hope paris doesn't revolt again, else I will have to change religion again in my little war, and I am far enough behind in tech, and my inflation is close to 10

The Japanese and Chinese cots. They were right on the heels of the Portugese, historically, well before the time they become a player nation.

UPDATE:: I arranged for Frederik to also be there to sub tonight. This way I sure we can run, I right now I am testing a dsl connection that I can possibly use to get online and join the game, remember 19.50 COTN

slargos only from 22cet and onwards, that is what mulli said. I didn't decide on who to play russia/spain of the subs, fred and hive where ready to sub, but hive had to go to work, so from 22 cet we need a sub, I will continue looking for one.

Thanks to Devil for the edits and finding subs. If he's going to be there, I believe we only need one (for Mulli, if Mulli is in fact out for this session-last I spoke to him, he was doing a couple more). If he'd be kind enough to add the two Saxon provinces back to Saxony and 800 ducats to Holland, I'd appreciate it (else send me the edits you've already done and I'll finish). That should be it.

I approve of all suggestions otherwise and they can be put in now. Shoot me the save so I can check it over when you're done.

As for me, it's been a bad week (not quite my house burning down, but close). I'll be there to run the session and finish up my wars with England and France, but let's all try to behave ourselves, because otherwise I'll be a mean, mean GM.

Apologies for being MIA. But as far as I know, everything is still fine-I have time to do all the edits as of T-Minus 1.15 Just been pretty busy and, for obvious reasons, unenthusiastic about dealing with this game with a short temper and pressed time. Like Slargos said, ridiculous...

Should be fine though, and if I can't buck up by Friday I'll appoint a (hopefully temporary) stand-in.
