A few English AARs posted, including the complete Chapter III (1563 – 1584) of "The Concise History of European Waged Warfare".

Lord_Robertus said:Why should the Netherlands recieve Portuguese Maps? I have had nothing to do with mainland Europe, and have done my best to keep knowledge of East of the Cape to myself and no one else. Sure France and England sneaked by, but they did as ordered, only three warships were allowed past the Cape and they had to ask first. If the Dutch want knowledge of beyond the Cape, they can send an explorer. Not my maps.
Have any edits been done during the past days? HG seems to be unreachable.PJL said:One way to get Dutch to always have Portuguese maps is to make Spain share Portugiuese maps in the Iberian Wedding event (1580), and to push back the Dutch independence events to the time when they were historically recognised as being so (1581). This would be a neat solution, but could raise other problems.

1) End of campaign
2) New GM elected
3) ...?
As far as I know, we miss France. Perhaps Spain also. We need capable sub(s).
For editing:
- we have to decide what to do with Holland
- if I remember correctly, there was a problem with Brandenburg diplo-annexing 3 province Saxony
Here is the history of Saxony:
- September 4, 1526 : Saxony became Vassals of Brandenburg.
- June 30, 1554 : Hessen accepted peace with Saxony on the following terms : Full Annexation of Hessen by Saxony.
- May 12, 1576 : Brandenburg annexed Saxony.
- June 26, 1578 : The people of Saxony declared independence from Brandenburg.
- June 26, 1578 : Saxony became Vassals of Brandenburg.
As I read the rules, despite releasing one-province Saxony as a vassal, Brandenburg still has one province too many (should have waited 20 more years for diplo-annexing two provinces).
But it so happens Brandenburg has Oldenburg as an ally… Could perhaps the solution be Brandenburg to keep all the provinces he has right now, but his ally Oldenburg has to cede Friesland and Geldre to Netherlands?
The Sultan and the Emperor have agreed to correct their Hungarian border in a temporary settlement.Slargos said:Just for the record:
I will not be GMing this game whatever happens. Policing a couple of rules is hell, policing the multitude of rules in Mach 3 with players who are not very keen on following them is ridiculous.
I will do the edits if HG doesn't show up and does them, or Devil can do them.
Aldo, Sure Its no problem to create 2 or more saves with the edits it takes no time to do it. Consider it doneAldo said:The Sultan and the Emperor have agreed to correct their Hungarian border in a temporary settlement.
This means that Maros and Magyar will be ceded from Austria to OE
and
Istria and Steiermark from OE to Austria
This is essential.
Note: ForzaA har previously agreed to this but he also seems hard to reach. I do not know if he has comfirmed to HG yet. If you won't take my word for it) ) maybe it is possible to create two sets of saves?
hehe all in all give holland french maps, and a cookieBarnius said:2000 d is good for Holland is good, but if she is to DOW Spain in 5 years to simmulate the war for independence, than it's not enough. Also, perhaps better to give Holland a bit higher trading income than cash.
- 20 warships
- 15.000 infantry, 5.000 cavalry
- naval tech a bit higher?
- Caribbean TPs removed; instead a colony in Africa to help with exploration
- African coastline maps up to Persian gulf and Goa; maps of Zanzibar, Isfahan and Goa COT and 1 merchant in each of those COTs
- a merchant or two in some other COTs
