Hell I'll even lend you 50 Warships so you can chase his fleet down and sink it.

If so, what happens on the 1st of january 1600 when all who have explored the whole or part of the Pacific sit with their finger on the "Send colonist" button and presses it....
Who will come first...
I guess the one who cheats the most, i.e. sends them at the earliest date in december![]()
But that can perhaps be seen in the GMs log. Side question: does the GM has access to all the player nations game log? If so it boils down to who presses first at each respective province...
It would indeed fascinating to sit and watch. A little bit like Jeopardy. Who presses quickiest!![]()

Wyvern said:Barnius, nice to see you teaching the European land powers once more that good ships rule outside Europe every day of the week regardless of manpower. I'm beginning to think no one can touch you in the realms of colonial/trading management. Still Archduke takes over the Netherlands soon right? I still remember his England from Tsunami so you might have some competition yet!

I wonder, is Spain still trying to depose good queen Bess and vassalise you or has their time passed?
Anyone care to post a map of Europe and North America for the audience?
Barnius said:when England had 150 warships and Spain still 50...
Barnius said:Allies are one thing, but vassals are a completely other, even by our rules. If Genoa is only Venetian ally, than she can for some reason chose to give her mighty neighbor France MA, even if it is used to attack her ally...
But if Genoa was Venetian vassal, than Venice should decide Genoese foreign policy. Meaningbetween sessions editing in/out TAs, embargoes, MAs,... and during the session player countries should ask Venice as vassal overlord if they can offer/accept something to/from Genoa.
Sounds like common sense?
And you are right about escalation of the colonial war, but it is only possible if Spain is asking too much from France in colonies and France is willing to go to war in Europe over it. Perhaps a COT is too much?
ForzaA said:IMHO the Polish-Ottoman situation is completely different, since we all agreed that the Ottomans were basically "barbarians" that you don't talk to (hence they are not subject to the three province rule)
atl least, that's how I see it. So I'd say fighting and sieging together is not allowed, while moving through territories the other occupies or sieges is.
so, one victory means I'm all alone the next time? I guess the Polish-Swedish alliance is then one that should not be
can't blame him for assuming that, but it does explain why he felt the "need" to occupy me as long as possible..
