Right after talking with all involved, a general peace has been accepted so the game can go on
There has been a lot of heavy discussion here, and both sides have argumented. But the general problem was people was talking about 2 different sides of the story.
On one side we have Damocles, he attacked holland cause of the english-dutch/french precedence, where turenne was in london, over a taiwan tp. Bad move and clear breaking of the rules. Hence damo interpreted the colonial/euro war rules from this.
The other side Forzaa and Barnius: Believes in the rules, but are forgetting the fact a precedence has been set. And looking in the mirror now, its allways easy to say damo should have been force peaced then.
The fact is we have a situation where both feel they have right, and but where both sides have errors in their arguments.
Hence it has been decided that the mallaca COT is ceded to denmark, and general peace will be signed. Also dutch navy that was lost due to the illegal occupation of the lowlands will be restored. Also Karl will be returned to sweden.
What to learn from this:
-No more colonial wars will be fought in europe. It will be allright to block a navy in a european port.
-No more oppertunism wars, all wars need to be role played, hence I expect to see some heavy diplomacy and RP from tomorrow on. I will not hesistate to force wp any nation that is deemed to break this.
-All wars be that colonial or european, no matter what, I as GM will need to accept them before the dow and be informed of goals.
-Of course if a side declares war to prevent the destruction of a nation, or to weaken an foe, without actually asking for provinces. It will be allright as long the intervention is RP'ed, e.g. trying diplomacy to force their will, before sending in the troops.
As a example of this: (lets use France shall we

)
France will not dow their good friend brandenburg, just because I have the ability to crush brandenburg. Neither will france dow venice, if they are in full fledged colonial war with other nations. Just because its easy prey...
ohh and if in doubt, please go ahead and ask me, I might have forget something since I am rather busy tonight.
