Edited January 1650 file with the results of the HAB-POR and HAB-TUR agreements edited in has been mailed to BiB.

Habsburg stability costs are now 2000d rather than 1000d. Time to send out the missionaries :D

But you are now Elector Prince of Brandenburg. You should weep over your country income :D

I really, truly ;) mean your vassal overlord should consider postponing his missionary services in Africa and instead send you that money.

He has? Are you refering to conversions? I am sorry, but I don't agree with you. That way just pacifying your people :D

Real investments would be building manufactories, so that people couls do something else than practice marching in the army.

But if I start building manufactories, where will I get enough men to join the army...:D

Yes, I wonder where Kurtbrian got the money to build his weapons manufactory, what with his 15-20d/mth income. No, actually, I do not wonder at all: I know :D

1) That is what Brandenburg is now. Its friendly overlord is trying to help it grow in economic strength.

2) Using that much money on maintenance is normal

3) Spain did what was expected, given her income

4) The reason for Russia's low upkeep is not pacifism, but because her armies have been slaughtered :D (new ones will be recruited, now doubt)

Btw. I like the way you highlighted Spanish and French trade as being the greatest in the inflation-adjusted figures - when Dutch trade in the same table is larger than French trade. Nice sleight of hand :D

To be fair, Peter...I almost always have the lowest maintenance costs. Overconfidence and all :p

If you were to examine past saves you would probably discover that I spent the lowest portion of my annual income on military maintenance then anyone else..

I consider it a VERY nasty habit. I need to learn to bite the bullet.

Nothing can escape Professor’s eye :D

First it was only an overlook from the table without the inflation adjustment. But when I saw it I deliberately left it as it was, waiting who will be the first to notice – and I am not surprised at all ;)
