So far HOI4 can be played on all other older Macs except for the new 2020 Macbook Air because the Graphics card Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB isn't recognized. Will this get patched by the next patch?

I don't think so. Intel Graphics have very little dedicated VRAM and PDX is not supporting anymore these graphic cards.
That's not true. HoI 4 even runs on computers from 2012 with Intel HD 4000 integrated GPUs. This sounds more like a bug than anything intended.

Of course it runs but Intel Graphics are not supported. You can check game requirements (ATI Radeon or NVIDIA GeForce). I asked this already because before I had an old MacBook and that was the answer they gave me.
