DLC wont work(v1.9.0)(dont know what a checksum is)

Do you have mods enabled?

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
The launcher will say "no available DLC," but steam says the DLC is installed. So i cant play any DLC. This issue is also happening to HOI4. EU4 is fine for some reason.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
I tried the stellaris multiplayer beta, after that stellaris DLC has never worked again

This is almost certainly due to your antivirus app, whatever that is.

Add steam.exe , stellaris.exe and hoi4.exe to its exceptions list, also the Steam-Stellaris and Steam-HOI4 folders and all their child forums.

I use a mac and i don't have an antivirus

I see. I don't have an explanation why this is affecting those two games then.

Please do a full **clean** re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "uninstall" in Steam-Stellaris
- manually delete both the Steam/SteamApps/common/Stellaris AND Documents/Paradox/Stellaris folders
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- start the game with no mods active and test

In particular you need to make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam Stellaris or Documents Stellaris locations, before installing again.

**File Locations on Mac OS X**
The executable and DLC folder are in Users/USER/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/Stellaris/
On OS X 10.8.x and later, Apple have hidden the /Users/USER/Library/ folder. To see it go to the Finder, hit command-shift-G (ie Go To) and type in ~/Library/ .
The user files (settings.txt, error logs, saved games, gfx, mods) are in /Users/USER/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/ .


then you can do the same for HOI4.

I did what you did and it didn't work. Then steam auto updated, which fixed it, thanks though.

Oh really? That's odd because there hasn't been a Steam update since October 30th.
