[Mac]Steam version doesn't start

I have been played CK II of steam version, with Windows.
Recently I have bought iMac and tried to play with this new Mac as well.
I launched Steam and "Play" button for CK II on steam.
Then the icon of CK II starts to pop at the dock.
But then, the icon pops for a while, and becomes still.
(The icon remains at my dock but reacts nothing)
How can I play CK II with Mac?

Spec of My Mac is following:
OS: OSX Maverick ver. 10.9
CPU: 2.9GHz Intel Core i5
Mem: 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Gram: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 1024MB

I haven't tried the game under 10.9 yet, but it certainly works under 10,8,5 on my iMac, very well indeed in fact.

Has anyone else reading this tried the game under 10.9?
