[MAC] Mods dont work

I have CK2 on a mac on steam and mods wont work. I checked the documents place and there was no mod folder. I made one myself as previously suggested but it didnt work. They dont show up in the launcher but they are in the mod folder. I was wondering how to fix this.

Note that the mods do NOT go in the documents area, but the executable's area: /Users/USER/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/crusader kings ii/CrusaderKings2.app

On OS X 10.8.x Apple have hidden the /Users/USER/Library/ folder. To see it go to the Finder, hit command-shift-G (ie Go To) and type in ~/Library/ .

Putting it in steamapps did work. Thanks for the info.
