Mac App Store EU3:DW won't open

Hi.

As i've stated in many of my other threads, I purchased the Mac App Store's EU3 Divine Wind in the latest version. But EU3 refuses to open beyond the launcher screen... Most of the time.
I have to just command+q & re-open the launcher and get lucky in order to get it to open.
I am sick and tired of this; i've had to do this for the past week.
Uninstalling & re-installing did not work.

Does anyone have any troubleshooting tips I could use?

The MacOS version of EU3 is developed by Virtual Programming so you probably need to contact them for tech support (http://www.vpltd.com/ ).
 
Did they give any justification for asking Paradox? About the only thing I could guess would be that they couldn't fix it without releasing a patch and maybe Paradox won't allow them to do it for some reason.
Maybe @AndrewT would have some advice (being tech support guy with Mac experience).
