[Mac] Animations are in black. No other lag or graphics problems [SOLVED]

The animations appear black, even though they move fine. So far, I have only seen one other user report this, but it was in the thread concerning the Mac lagging issue, and I did not see any developer address it. Currently, I'm having no lagging issues, and I'm not having any other graphics issues. Music and volume are fine. No crashes. The screen does not flicker. (If this issue has been addressed in another thread, forgive me. I looked diligently before posting--I swear!)



I have changed the refresh rate in the settings text file to 60 as suggested in the Known Issues thread, but that did not change anything. I have also changed the screen resolution several times. Lastly, I have turned off all the graphics in the Options menu except for borders and rivers.

Hi Searre,

10.6.8 is known to have problems with certain drivers and an idea would be to upgrade your OS. Further there I also see that your graphics card is 512mb while the game on Mac requires a 1024mb of Ram according to the minimum system requirements. If the upcoming patch does not solve the issues, please report back and we'll have another look at it
