Mac and Screenshots?

So I'm picking up HoI 3 Semper Fi, and I want to take my shot at doing an AAR once I finish up my current round... But can anyone tell me how to take a screenshot on a mac? I'm used to doing my AAR's on a PC where I can just pop the Print Screen button.

Well on my mac, I hit fn + F11 to take a screenshot. Hope that helps.

According to a tutorial I read on taking screenshots in OSX, Command+Shift+3 is supposed to take a shot and dump it as a file to the desktop.. But when I do that with HoI3 running, I just get a black screen...

Are there any third-party screenshot programs out there that will help allow for this? I know Macs aren't exactly the most common area of expertise, but it'd be helpful :\

Fn + cmd + F11 seems to do the trick, in Vicky 2 at least.

If you are playing in windowed mode, you can use the Grab utility that comes with the OSX. It´s very handy, and you can take partial selection screenshots with it. There are examples of screenshots taken with it in my sig.
