[Mac][2.2.1.1] Crash to Desktop

This save game crashes to desktop consistently on February 27th. Playing as a duke in West Francia. The only event that pops up between the save file and the crash generally is my wife's pregnancy.

This feels kind of similar to the issue I reported here: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?821280-Mac-Freezing-on-2.2.1.1

However, in this save file, the game doesn't freeze up. It's just a crash to desktop.

My computer stats are the same from the previous thread.


Mac Mini (late 2012 model)
OS X 10.10.1 Yosemite
Intel HD 4000 graphics card with 1024 MB vram

Save game started and played entirely only on patch 2.2.1.1

No mods. The only DLC I do not own are the music packs, the CK2->EU4 converter, and the customizer thing.

Quite a different crash log than the other one, so I logged a new bug report on this one too.

For what it's worth, I haven't played a game in 2.2.1 or 2.2.1.1 that hasn't eventually crashed. I always start at the new 769 start date. I've never made it to the year 900. I'm fairly certain I've even made it to 850 on any of these games.

In most cases, I run into problems while I'm still playing as my original ruler, but this isn't necessarily always the case. I've always used the custom character creator--so perhaps this is related (though if it is related, it seems odd that sometimes the crash would happen after this original character is long dead).

I've always played as a Christian ruler--and usually in Britain, though in this particular case, I was playing as a duke in France.

Perhaps I will try playing as a Viking or Arab and see if I get the same results or different. But yeah, for emphasis, I've not had a single game on 2.2.1 or 2.2.1.1 yet that hasn't crashed or frozen (as mentioned in the other thread). The freezing problem is new to 2.2.1.1--never experienced that on 2.2.1.

It may be worth mentioning that when the game crashes for me, I get no error report to see the stack trace upon crashing.
