[Mac] 0.9 Mod on CKII 2.2.1 (DPOO) Crash on loading

When I play the mod I get the loading screen with the blue bar running across the top and the pictures/quotations cycling through. This keeps going until it the blue bar reaches the end and then a little cursor appears that I can move around (the loading screen) while it's finishing off the load. CKII then just crashes - no error, it just disappears and I'm back at my desktop.

I have no DLCs and no other mods.
I've tried deleting the mod and re-downloading but to no avail.

I've tried all of the different Beta options under properties in Steam (albeit being of the view that I had the right one to begin with) and I get the exact same problem each time.

Driving me crazy!

Any suggestions?

Help for mods go to the respective mod threads, iirc.
Unless you get the same error when running without mods.

Anyhow, is the mod you're trying to run compatible with the version of CKII you're running?
