Will it work on the new MacBooks? Thanks

I'm not sure which macbook you are referencing or the specs, but there is Mac OS support. Here are the minimum and recommended specs:

  • MINIMUM:
    • OS: High Sierra (MAC OS X 10.13.6) Metal required.
    • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-4690
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: AMD® Radeon™ R9 M290X (2GB)
    • Storage: 10 GB available space

    • OS: Catalina (MAC OS X 10.15.7)
    • Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-7700k
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM

Not talking about that - I just bought the new macbook with the m1 chip - not intel it has an 8 core built in Gupta that outperforms the discrete cards listed. However certain games don’t play well on it. Others that deman discrete Gus play awesome - still other that are updated for the chip (i.e. desperados III) play like it;s on a $5000 system.) Mine should be here in two weeks so I have time.
(Even skylines which says won’t play on an integrated chip plays okay and that has monster demands. I saw that video.)

It should as long as you have Big Sur it provides a translation level so anything written for Intel will work on M1. It probably is not optimiZed for M1 at this point, but give that EoS uses Unity and Unity does have support for M1, maybe PDX will do that at some point. Would be nice!
