Do heresies auto-share holy sites with their parent? If so, does it cause an error if the heresies have their holy sites coded in, in parallel with the parent?

- Yes heresies do share automatically HS with parents. At least they did when the mechanic was first introduced, and that's now the assumption for design - it is not on the agenda to change this even if the mechanic has made it possible since then. From a non-mechanic purely logical point of view, a heresy sharing the parent's HS makes sense as it generates the competition that is consubstantial to heresies.

- No I don't think it causes an error. If it did, we would have felt it already a long time ago when some religions had their heresy status changed and the HS code left behind. Still, it is something we should consider cleaning up.

- On that topic, it is worth adding that heresies can reform, making them mainstream religions in their own right (with the unreformed version now being the heresy); in such an instance, the new reformed heresy has its own set of HSs. So from a lore point of view, we can still define specific places as holy for heresies, but they will have to reform to "unlock" them.

I've been entering holy sites for heresies using their parent's holy sites, should I continue doing so, or remove the ones I entered? (Iberian and Western Christianity mostly, plus a few from Eastern.)

On the holy sites for heresies debate... while a heresy can overthrow it's parent by converting at least 5 (new feature from the Sons of Abraham expansion), or 15 in LI, provinces more than the parent has, I believe it inherits the parent's holy sites anyway when it becomes a parent religion itself. As the vanilla landed_titles file does not define holy sites for heresies, we can assume that by this.

Persian religions had a similar problem, but it was easy to tell which went in Omsk and which by the mouth of the Indus.

Another problem with the Judaic religions. Map says the sethian and sethian_reformed have their non-shared holy site in Gaza in Gazzeh, but there is no Gazzeh county. Gaza's in the county of Laodikeia (c_darum); the holy sites are currently in Agelen in Lykia (c_ascalon), neither of which are near Gaza's location. (Or at least shouldn't be, by the county names.)

A problem in Old Mesopotamian religions. The shared site in Nisibin doesn't tell what barony. (There are two prebuilt baronies in Nisibin, b_nusaybin, a castle, and b_savur, a city.)

Re: Canaanite religions, the map has 2 sites labeled 4, and none labeled 3. Which one's which? (These would be for Hadadi and Kothar-wa-Khasisi.)

Persian religions had a similar problem, but it was easy to tell which went in Omsk and which by the mouth of the Indus.

Another problem with the Judaic religions. Map says the sethian and sethian_reformed have their non-shared holy site in Gaza in Gazzeh, but there is no Gazzeh county. Gaza's in the county of Laodikeia (c_darum); the holy sites are currently in Agelen in Lykia (c_ascalon), neither of which are near Gaza's location. (Or at least shouldn't be, by the county names.)

A problem in Old Mesopotamian religions. The shared site in Nisibin doesn't tell what barony. (There are two prebuilt baronies in Nisibin, b_nusaybin, a castle, and b_savur, a city.)

By convention, when the temple holding bears the same name as the county, I don't repeat it, it would look like kind of stupid and redundant to the reader. So no indication of barony holding means it is the one with the same name as the county, exactly like Roma and Carthago.

Anyway in most counties there is only one temple, and as you know a HS must be a temple; when there are more than 1 temple, then the first one os always the HS. So in fact indication of the barony-level holding is a luxury.

Problem with Graeco Roman/Solar religion map - can't figure out what barony in c_darfur is supposed to be Fuka Lolong (sol_sahara/sol_sahara_reformed unique holy site)

There is only one temple anyway, that's the one. The correct name is not yet localized correctly but i trust it will come soon.
