HAH! Good one...

Really, its overall been updated for latest dlcs and patches, and new features such as societies and offmap China have been added, but are not completed yet. You'll just have to play and see for everything else, because to be honest, we've done a lot of work in last 2 years, and not all of it is easily seen "features". It took a lot of bugfixing and updating to get it updated to M&M and JD, and hence why it took so long. Its been semi-ready for release for a few months, but we decided it was time for a fresh release.

There has been some work on that front. You'll notice a sister has been added, as well as a distant (unrelated but still dynastic member) dude. Not all chars have that, but a good amount of them do.

Try deleting your C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\Lux Invicta folder (where the save games are stored)

Ok, maybe try validating your game files in steam? if not, then I would try a manual reinstall of the mod, and then ck2 if the problem still persists. And check if no other "big" mods are used which might interfere with Lux's loading. It is quite a large total conversion so can be tough to run with other mods.
