I was playing as Austria and lost a war to the HRE Bohemia and Hungary, giving up Graz in the process. When I looked again my stability costs went up and it seemed I lost my lucky tag. Any thoughts on why?
I don't play with Lucky Nations on myself, but I understood that the Lucky tags only applied to AI countries as Sciron says.
Could it be that War Exhaustion from losing the war has caused the stability costs to go up? Also, I dont know if legitimacy affects stab cost but if so, losing the war would lower your legitimacy (assuming you are still a monarchy).
There are eight lucky nations. France and England for example. If you play one of them then another nation will get lucky. I remember they are fixed as well. Like four other nations that can become lucky if you chose to play as Austria or one of the other seven.
