I don't want this to weaken the force culture option for union partners, but It would be nice if client states (Vassals, marches, and unions) that are loyal to you would gain your culture as an accepted culture just so long as they are loyal. They would lose that acceptance once becoming disloyal.

Example being this: Lithuania starts with a polish culture province in their west. Once they enter the personal union with Poland wouldn't it make sense for them to gain Polish culture as accepted as long as they are loyal to Poland?

This would of course be different then forcing your culture as their primary (which is pretty expensive for the Polish-Lithuanian example currently close to 500 diplo and fairly so) in which they are simply gaining it as accepted as long as they are loyal.

Also it would be nice for Vassals and Marches to gain acceptance seeing as though I'm pretty sure you can only force culture on unions, but I might be wrong on that.

The culture system is still pretty messed up regardless, and this sounds like a small fix to much larger problem. Don't forget about the whole issue where once the Commonwealth forms, Lithuanian culture often becomes no longer accepted. There's also the problem with no dynamic culture conversion or timed acceptance of cultures due to being accepted for long periods of time. Of course, there's also that silly business where just because one culture is dominant in a province, it's considered the only culture. Sigh, lots of stuff.

In my 1.12 Poland run I got Lithuanian accepted by feeding russia and the steppes to Lithuania before integrating them. They flipped culture in the steppes (except for crimea which they got accepted). So I had a massive Lithuanian culture.
Point is this: currently the option to change primary culture in your pu partner is actually a bad idea. Unless maybe you get a PU over a colonizer and want them to create colonies in your culture (though I don't know what you would gain from that.)
I would actually prefer to see the reverse of your suggestion. After you integrate a PU you automatically accept all cultures they accepted. They would still need to be over 10% of your total development to stay accepted, but you wouldn't need to get them over 20% to accept them in the first place.

I think both make sense, the main idea of the thread and this suggestion as well.

I agree and I've posted a few times about how I think accepted culture should be based off the ratio of Primary cultures cores vs minorities cores not based off of total cores to minority cores. There's a lot of issues with culture and sadly some of the bigger issues is deflected as (not by the devs) if you want more realistic culture situations play Victoria. I understand the problem of making certain mechanics Too in-depth, but you could fix some of the current problems and flesh it out a little bit...
