Hi all
Just got CK2 today and I am loving it, I think it is going to be by favourite Paradox game yet. I have been playing as the count of Nantes. I managed to get a couple more counties through fabricating claims and warring, one I kept and the other I gave to my eldest son. For years the duchy was going to revert back to my wife (and therefore my son) when the current duke dies as he was heirless but then a year before he died he suddenly got an heir. I was so annoyed! I wasn't crafty enough to kill the poor child, which would be terribly wrong of me anyway ofc, so once she inherited I decided to depose her for my wife. All went well and wifey got the duchy and the first thing she did was to take the county of Nantes from me and give it to the child I just deposed! I felt so betrayed I had to go into the other room and tell my husband all about it lol.
Hope you are all having as much fun as me
The future duke of Brittany (I hope)
