I have played lot of games to see how everything works and I am finding that their is a lot of regencies because Ruler dies early or heir dies do to a event and your left with a regency when ruler dies with new young heir, close to every game 30+ in total as all 4 playable nations, I had a regency in that short time of the demo and its not hard to find 3 or more regencies going on at once in Europe. To me this looks really high when in fact if you look at the history of monarchs in Europe they are very uncommon because even if heir dies their are lots waiting in line.
What I really love is how many times I ended up with a 10+ year regency and just quit and started a new game
but in full version I do not want to end up with 4 or more regencies in first 100 years
this would just drive me crazy
I was not using my heir as a military leader so this do not factor into this, if I had used my heir as a military leader I would even have more regencies
