I like to see lots of figures and data on my and others' success. I normally check EU2 sledger or Tropico almanac pretty often. Sometimes I search after stuff that actually has meaning, like provinces missing an upgrade, but most of the time it's just browsing around and analysing the ups and downs.

Some data of other nations might be a bit too informative, like HoI telling you how many of each type unit any nation has. Rather it would be nice to see overall figures of army size, tech levels, wealth, resources, length of railroads, population size, happyness...

The chance to customize the visualization of information a bit, like in EU2 changing the listing order (first highest population, or lowest, or biggest fort, or province name...) is an important thing missing in several non-Paradox titles.

It would be really good too if we could see actual numbers from previous years.

e.g. In HOI, I would like to be able to look at the specific figure for my IC at, say the start of each month, so I can see how it is increasing.

I think they should have it in but I hope its not buggy ; sometimes my EU2 stat ledger thing gets values all screwed up. (Like I'll have 100+ provinces and It'll show me at 23).
Or the forever bugged monarch listings.

I certainly hope the ledger system is more detailed this time around. HOI seemed a little bare when it came to easy access stats, a whole step behind EU2 even. Hopefully this area gets some more attention.

And something should be done with the scales. In EU when you for instance got huge amounts of money from events or peace treaties your whole income graph becomes useless. It shows the 1000 ducats from 50 years ago, but since the scale increases so much, it's impossible to see the differences of smaller amounts. A hard thing to correct, actually. Perhaps there could be an option to zoom in/out?
