Lost Troops, country changed?

I was playing germany, I think the date was early 40.

Italy, hungary, and the other southeastern countries were allies. itally and I took all of contental france, I had the low countries and took most of poland. Romana took the rest.

We just started to fight in Yougoslavia, took all the country between me and Romania then my home country changed to romainia and I lost a 8 unit army located in the country. Not sure quite what happened there, it looks like they went back to the unit pool.

I was from then on not able to place new units in germany only my section of yougoslavia.

Also sometimes the units fail to move when ordered. This happened a few times while i was attacking france.

Also the low countries will not let me annex, and france will not surrender.

What do u mean with "My home country changed"?

U can annex teh low countries and france, u just have to have all their keypoints (and I bet u don't have their colonies so u don't have those).
