For you that crash with destroyed save game: Check if there's a SaveName_Backup.eu4 (if your save was named SaveName) in {your documents folder}\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\save games or for a cloud save correspondingly savename_cloudbackup.eu4 in {Steam userdata folder}\{userid}\236850\remote\save games.

Secondly, keep posting your crash logs after ensuring you're running with latest hotfix which is supposed to have fixed this (but it obviously seems not according to these reports).

This should work now at least, let me know if it doesn't. But, if this save game is from an earlier version and has been destroyed and is at 0 kB, then there's nothing that can be done indeed.

Chaingun, There is no backup save for the game i lost, but there is one for the current game im playing so at least I can confirm that its working now with the latest hotfix

Here's to a bright future of no more permanently lost save games (hopefully)
