Another tip: If at first you don't get any responses just keep posting yourself. Every extra post adds one to the replies and two to the number of views. The best I once managed was 15 replies and 30 views

p.s. Did someone mention a 30-pint MP game. Count me in on this just to see the AI get to kick ass. Obviously, I would cheat and only drink 10 pints

Mrt thanks for the suggestion. I am actually considering writing a new AAR. I have to
admit though I only read like 1 AAR so I didn’t grasp any if the writing involved.
Basically I started to write blindly. Also I really did like the comments that people posted,
next time I will read my supporters AARs.

Bismarck did a very good Scottish AAR based on a mod (spank me repeatedly with beef jerky if I'm wrong).

Now you've got me thinking. It would be a fairly quick AAR, since Canada only has a maximum existence of about 30 years. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll check that out then. Sometimes I like to write short, intensive AARs that cover a fixed span of years...

And KoN, the Nitro Girls will get in there somehow, trust me.

Well, technically it was a mod.... but something I did myself.... it was a cut and paste kind of thing from the English leader file....

I tweak my save games to simulate events.... because I am of the opinion that if it makes it a little more fun for me, especially more fun to write about, then I'll tweak it....

But I am like that....

Cyprus is being done on the older EEP before the Crusader State mod.... so I have a lot of freedom.... and yes, from time to time, I have made mods to the save files as well.... but not to any point in the game detailed so far....

Well, we all have our little pets. I'm scripting Denmark-Norway events and sweating these days. Once I seem to have understood the event structure, something... ahem... unexpected happens.


Bismarck, I agree upon allowing oneself the "AARtistic liberty" of modding a save game. If it helps making the story more interesting (and indeed the gameplay), do as Nike says.


A Canadian AAR would definitely be interesting. C'mon, BarristerBoy, Lord Durham and MrT! Do a Cannuck AAR! Please?

I'll give it a try (except I'm heading out of town for about a week). But of the three names mentioned, I know which one doesn't belong in a discussion about AAR writers

If LD or T want to use my Canada mod for an AAR, I will definitely update it for you to use! I even have some updated graphics from Mad King James that I haven't got around to putting in my mod yet...
