Looting?

I keep reading about looting provinces in war.
Does this happen automatically, or is there something I need to do
(like in CK) to chose to loot.

A province is looted simply when enemy soldiers are in the province. The looter gets some ducats that are distributed through your sliders

The province is looted if your soldiers are in it at the beginning of the month.

...not to mention that, in a perverse twist, you can ONLY loot any given province once every 13 (not 12) months. Ahh, the scoundrels :rofl:

You precisely get a sum of money equal to twice the base tax value of the province. And when simultaneously looting a bunch of provinces, it's a good time to mint for money, as you'll get more bucks for the same inflation.
