Based off of a front page reddit post. Can't link, but you can go look for it if you want.
Seriously hope this is fixed by launch date.

Now that I have the forum rules in front of me, it does look like linking to the subreddit could be considered a violation of rule 7.Why can't you link? Is there a forum rule against linking to the subreddit or a technical block?
I was expecting a bit of a mess, but not what was described in the reddit post. 2.0 had its problems, but nothing like this.Yeah not suprising, just like 1.5 and 2.0 I fully expected 2.2 to be a buggy, unbalanced mess of a patch. It may sound harsh, but I think it is understandable due to the sheer massive scope of changes in this patch, and it is just the reality of big stellaris patches. We will probably have to wait for Paradox to roll out the patches to address most of these issues. Hopefully we will get 1 or 2 before they go on winter break.

From the screenshots it looks like this reviewer has all the graphical pretties turned up high (or at least higher than I typically play), people concerned about performance who are willing to compromise on graphics may not encounter the reviewer's performance troubles.
