I've been reading some AARs lately, and i'm really enjoying myself. I'd give a lot to have AARs printed in bookform so i could read in bed, on my way to work and so on!
I'm still trying to learn this game, and i'm having a hard time doing it!
AARs are helpful in a way, you get some ideas on tactics and stuff but what i would really need while learning is an AAR that is written with more indepth explanations on what is actually being done in the game.
What DP settings did he choose, how did he handle the economy, where when and why did he build manufactories and so on. Often updated dates of the occurances would also be good.
Sort of like a walkthrough story of an AAR.
I don't think there are many like this, it won't be any fun reading for thoose who don't need the pointers so the AAR would probably get some bad reviews for "to much unnecessary information" or something like that!
Just wondering if anyone has seen/written anything like this?
Ah well, i will probably learn this game some day (month, year). Just keep at it i guess... Anything that makes it easier would be great though.
(Yes i have read all the newbie threads, beginner guides and so on)
Edit: Spelling...
