Looking for an interesting country to play

I've played just about all the reccomended countries in the game and I'm looking to try something new - preferably a country with a lot of potential and a good number of events.

My play style is fairly historic (no WC) and I hate country-wide revolts. I almost always play using the AGCEEP because of the sheer number of events.

Any suggestions?

I've had a lot of fun with Brabant. You start with four prov's en two cultures, dutch and french.
Around 1600 you can become The Netherlands and really expand you colonial realm! Or try expanding in France during their religious turmoil and convert the catholic provs you gain.

Morocco is pretty fun to play with the AgcEEp.
You can focus on expension trough North Africa or west Africa...
I hate WC game, and currently i'm having a very interesting game with this country.

It can also mean World Colourization, meaning making every province your colour.

Have u tried Hungary so far? It's really great in AGCEEP! Especially if u set AI aggressiveness to a higher level. U are in orthodox tech group and surrounded by such enemies as OE and Austria. There is little chance for getting a CoT, so u won't be flooded with cash. Plenty of historical events, it's a real challenge to survive.

Hmmmm, it doesn't have any events but if you're looking for a challenge then try Viyanger and try to remain one of the world's only Hindu states while you are surrounded by larger Muslim powers. I'm assuming you've already completed games with Byzantium and the Kingdom of Jerusalem but how about something like Crimea? In my current game Genoa conquered the Crimea from the Golden Horde and ended up converting the providences to Catholicism. Now Crimea is an Independent Catholic state with Mongol culture. I found the idea so intriguing that I switched to the Crimea and am now trying to conquer the Mongol world with it.
